Formed by Simon Jackman and Jeremy Hook in 2009, Green Play Project are a creative and innovative group of designers, carpenters and landscapers who create spaces we’re proud of and whose users will love.
It matters to us how the children in the playground get from A to B; what challenges, inspires and rewards them, because it wasn’t that long ago that we were doing the same thing. We know and care about what makes for good play.

Our designs are bespoke – we work project-specifically to maximize your space. We’ve developed a popular selection of tried and tested structures, but also treat each project individually. And if that means designing a completely new kind of tree house, then, well, that’s what we enjoy most.
Working closely with Local Authorities and many schools around Bristol, we adhere to the 10 Design principles as set out in Play England’s Design for Play Publication, promote the Children’s Play Council priorities for play, conform with National Play Safety Forum’s position on acceptable risk, and are up-to-speed on safety regulations.
